Er ist der Sänger der erfolgreichsten deutschen Pop-Band der Gegenwart: Bill Kaulitz von Tokio Hotel. Trotz des Ruhms fehlt ihm offenbar etwas Entscheidendes, um wirklich glücklich zu sein.
Die spitzen Knie drücken durch die Hose, das Gesicht ist blass, ohne jedenAusdruck. Bill Kaulitz (20), Sänger von Tokio Hotel, ist so dünn wie noch nie. Eine zierliche Figur hatte Bill zwar schon immer, aber jetzt sieht er nur noch wie ein Häufchen Elend aus. Das Leben als Rock-Star scheint ihm immer mehr zuzusetzen, ihn körperlich aufzufressen. Doch der Sänger schont sich auch selbst nicht. Auf der Bühne gibt er als Frontmann alles, steht immer im Mittelpunkt, gibt Interviews, hetzt zum nächsten Termin. Das erste Mal bekam er die Quittung, als er vor einiger Zeit seine Stimme verlor. Die Karriere hinterlässt Spuren. Bill liebt das Band-Leben, hat sich damit einen großen Traum erfüllt. Und dennoch: Mit gerade einmal 20 muss er erkennen, wie sehr ihn seine großeLiebe, die Musik, auch vereinnahmt. Schon oft gab er zu, sich trotz desRuhmes einsam zu fühlen: „Ich weiß nicht, was ich brauche, um zufrieden zu sein – aber ich bin es nicht.“ Offenbar fehlt ihm ein Mensch, der ihm ab und zu einfach mal zuhört.

He got the receipt the first time, when he lost his voice some time ago. The career leaves tracks. Bill loves the band life,  a big dream came true for him. And still: With just 20 he must recognise, how much his big love, the music also captures him. Often enough he admitted feeling lonesome in spite of the fame: „I do not know what I need to be contented – but I am not it.“ Obvious he lacks a person who simply listens to him from time to time.
