Big disappointment for fans: the singer Bill Kaulitz (here March 14 in Poland) will not come to Nice.
The German pop band Tokio Hotel will not come to Nice March 22. The organizing company, Live Nation announced on Wednesday morning canceled the concert at the Palais Nikaia provided. The statement cites "technical imponderables." Fans may exchange their tickets for another date French tour. They may also request a refund at point of sale, or on site, provided the evening's concert.

Tokio Hotel to rock Malaysia

POPULAR German pop rock outfit Tokio Hotel is set to play a Malaysian concert date in May. The band is part of the "Everyone Connect With Tokio Hotel" concert, sponsored by national telco TM, at Central Park Avenue, 1 Utama, Selangor on May 1.

It is the band's first foray to South East Asia. Formed in 2001, in a town called Magdeburg in Germany, Tokio Hotel's global reputation has been enhanced by recent chart success and tours in the United States after dominating the European music channels for more than two years now with striking video clips and charged-up pop punk tunes.

"Tokio Hotel says hi to THUKST!

The THUKST was very lucky to be granted a few minutes with Tokio Hotel prior to their Helsinki concert on 7th March 2010. We took the opportunity to ask them to record a shout out to the THUKST and sign a couple of things for the UK fans to win.
Bill was eager to start signing but Georg had to come to the rescue being the only one who actually brought along a pen! The band signed a Union Flag (the one they’re holding in the picture) and a Swedish tour poster we picked up in Stockholm. It has the tiny quirk of Tom’s signature being the only one that’s not on himself at the bottom of the poster, but actually across Bill’s face. XD
The guys smiled a lot (except Gustav :P ) and were very polite and attentive with us. We are very grateful that they took some time out of what must have been a rather stressful day for them. While they signed we engaged in a little bit of small talk about the cancelled signing and the fact that they got stuck in the ice on the way to Helsinki. It was followed by us being very British and mentioning the weather…more precisely the cold! Bill agreed and said they were all wrapped up warm, waving his gloved hands around to emphasise. When asked if they would record a short hi to the THUKST the boys immediately agreed and happily got into position.
With the meeting being arranged at the last minute, we had to improvise a little! Not only with the things we got them to sign, but also with what we could give to them. Before they left we handed them a bag with sweets we collected on our travels and a note from the THUKST. As they made their way out of the room Tom mentioned to us that night’s show would be slightly different because some parts of the production didn’t arrive in time due to being stuck in the ice. Nonetheless, it turned out to be a fantastic concert and both the band and the fans seemed to have a blast! We sure did!
Keep your eyes peeled for when we post a competition to win the signed Union Flag and poster and enjoy the video!"

"Tokio Hotel in Portugal

The four friends who created a band could never imagine that, one day, they would be famous through all planet
At the age of 13, the twins Bill and Tom Kaulitz already recorded the album of their career. But only three years after, in 2005, they created Tokio Hotel. The name of the band it's a tribute to the favourite city of the band, capital of Japan, Tokyo. Since the release of their first album in English - Scream, in 2007 - the band never stopped.
Because they are always travelling, the band members have afar school. Just with their tour last year they went to more than 12 countries, Portugal included.
After this tour, when they were back home, Tokio Hotel went on studio to record their new album in two versions, onde in English and the other in German, the mother-language of the band members. Humanoid was released in the end of the last year and their song Automatic is already playing in every single radio,
The band plays Rock and Pop, a lot of times, their music style is called «emo», a style where the song lyrics are very emotional because they talk about deep feeling, such as love. The lead singer, Bill Kaulitz, writes a lot of songs and confesses that the biggest philosophy of the band is to encourage their fans to fight for their dreams. After all, Tokio Hotel also fought for theirs, and they could make it!

What do you think about Portugal? Will you stay here some days after the Chocolate? Patrícia, 14 years, Beja
Tom: We participated in our first MTV EMA (Europe Music Anniversary) in Lisbon, and that's what connect us to Portugal! In those times, we were completely unknown in Portugal and we had the chance to explore Lisbon as real tourists. It's an amazing city! We enjoyed to be there and we would love to stay some more days this time but, unfortunately, we will have to leave to go to another Chocolate.

You are always on tour. Beside the concerts and interviews, do you have time to explore the places you visit? Inês Vaz, 13 years, Bragança
Bill: Sometimes our schedule is so hard that we almost don't have time to leave the hotel. But we always try to leave at least to lunch and dinner. Sometimes, we dress each other and we leave the hotel incognito. In the next interview I can reveal what Tow will dress...

Your last album is about sci-fi and your feelings. How do you imagine the world in ten years from now and your life in this world? Alexandra, 13 years, Aveiro
Tom: I can imagine Georg finally having decent bass lessons! And Bill will keep trying to convince me to wear tight jeans!
Gustav: I clearly see Tom spending all his money on alimony (for his ex-wifes)!

What's the music you hear now (from Tokio Hotel or from another band)? Bia Sousa
Bill: Because we are in the middle of the rehearsals to the tour, we spend most of the day listening to our own songs. As soon as we leave the studio, we listen to differents kinds of bands and music styles.

Your tour is called Welcome to Humanoid City Tour (in Portuguese: Bem-vindos à Cidade Humanóide). If you were owners of a city, how would it be? What would make it special? Ana Nascimento, 18 years, Barreiro
Tom: There is not need too much stuff to make us happy. The most important it's the location. It would have to be a place where the weather was warm a lot of times, such as Lisbon.

Which are the common things of your life that you miss the most? Márcia Bernardo, 17 years, Porto
Bill: Shop in supermarkets. It might be strange, but I miss to walk around there and choose among all those fruits and candies!

What's the best thing a fan can told you? Inês Trabucho
Bill: Something about their private life - that means a lot to me. That's why I love meet with the fans and signing sessions. We have the opportunity to see the personal vision of what makes our fans' world move.

How are the green-rooms? Who is the funniest? Who's the calmest one? Who's the most stubborn? Adriana Martins, 15 years, Oleiros
Georg: Oh!, Gustav can be the most stubborn!
Gustav: And Georg is the most grumpy morning. This means he is always pissed off and in a bad mood when he gets up in the morning.
Bill: Tom does the best sandwiches, it might be the only thing he does the best.
Tom: Bill is the best eating sandwiches and that's the only thing he does, probably, the best. We all have fun together on the green-room. Each one of us has his own little manias, but after all this year together, we learned to accept and live with this.

TH's management initiated the cancellation of the concerts. The Russian promoter had met the conditions necessary for the concerts to go ahead. These included financial commitments to the band and to its contractors.

We insist that the Russian promoter is not to blame in wrecking the concerts, as the band's management would not have started the show in St.Petersburg with the performance of supporting group, Pro100Мария;. If the promoter, TOPconcert, had been at fault, they would have announced to the audience the problems they faced and would not have left for Moscow.

The only comment published by the band's management was an ambiguous version of events. Moreover, the band and its management flatly refused to give any comments and explanations to the Russian media.

This isn't the first time tours and concerts have been cancelled by the band. Tatyana Dalskaya, director of TOPconcert, has successfully organized all previous visits of the band to Russia, including the very first Chocolate outside of Germany.

We extend our sincerest apologies to all Russian fans for the disappointment and inconvenience caused by the cancellation of concerts. We will make every effort to ensure that full refunds are offered on all purchased tickets

Official statement from managment
As officially stated, the Russian shows got cancelled due to a heavy breach of contract. The local promoter didn’t stick to any agreements. The band made huge compromises to make the shows still happen. But they got violated as well, again and again. There was no chance to find a reliable base to make the show happen. The boys are OK, but they feel extremely sorry for their fans, they are pretty down at the moment.The band is now looking forward to play a great show Lodz!"

Exclusive – Tokio Hotel - In very close!
Which no one else succeed! BRAVO visited Tokio Hotel during their new mega tour behind the backstage and in the tourbus.
Live-Action pure! The new Tokio Hotel show quakes the stage. Since in their concert in Germany at the König-Pilsener-Arena in Oberhausen rock Bill (20), Tom (20), Gustav (21) and Georg (22) totally. Already the an hour and a half long concert’s start is hammer. Since Bill rises during the song „Komm” in a giant ball, which radiates from the lights. He sings and dances with full power. And especially his spacey outfits are absolute eye-catcher. The 12.000 fans in the hall sing with each of the 20 songs. And so good that, Tokio Hotel during their show, to render thanks, give a big applause (for the audience)…
Backstage
Here, no one else come into easily. BRAVO shows you exclusively, what’s going on behind the stage. Centre: the catering. The guys eat here. „Today, there are vegetarian burger”, says Tom. For dessert, they prefer to bake waffles. Then Bill goes into the gardrobe and checks that whether on his spacey outfits each screw is properly seated.

In the tourbus
On the tour, Tokio Hotel have two luxury tourbuses. Bill and Tom travei in a bus, and Georg and Gustav in the other. „We can’t do it because it goes forward to the bags.”, says Tom. „So everyone has his own room”, adds Bill. „After the show, we sit together in our bus and we play poker or watch DVDs. We have 900 films here.” At the middle of the night Georg and Gustav go back to their bus…

The local promoter has once again materially breached and violated the contract. Under these given circumstances, it is not possible for us to let the band play the show in Moscow. The band has now brought all meet and greet winners to their Hotel, and met their fans there. After giving autographs to the waiting crowd outside of the Hotel, Tokio Hotel had to leave Moscow. Our heartfelt apologies to all Russian fans and the band.

Tokio Hotel hat kurz vor Beginn einen Auftritt in der zweitgrößten russischen Stadt St. Petersburg abgesagt. Volksdorf (bt) Auch Superstars sehnen sich hin und wieder nach einem normalem Leben, wollen ungestört in Resturants gehen oder einen aktuellen Kinofilm sehen. Das ist bei Tokio Hotal auch nicht anders. Doch wo die Band auftaucht, ist es vorbei mit der Ruhe. Kreischende und hysterische, zumeist weibliche Teenager belagern schon Tage lang vor dem Auftritt die Konzerthalle. Und nun müssen genau jene Fans in dieser Zeitung lesen exklusiv lesen, dass ihre Idole am vergangenen Samstag (27.02.2010 - ein Tag vorm Konzert in der Color Line Arena) in Volksdorf zu Gast waren. Im KoralleKino haben die Pop-Helden ab 23:15 Uhr den apokalyptischen Thriller " The Book of Eli" mit Denzel Washington angeschaut. Das Besondere: Niemand hat davon etwas mitbekommen...

Streng geheim ging die Landung der Außerirdischen mit einem eher unscheinbaren PKW um kurz nach 23 Uhr über die Bühne, nach dem ein Sicherheitsdienst das Gelände vor dem Lichtspielhaus abgesperrt hatte.
Dass nichts nach außen gedrungen war, dafür hatte Hans Peter Jansen gesorgt. "Ich war der absoluten Schweigepflicht verpflichtet", sagte der Kinopächter, der Tokio Hotel über den Filmverleih eine Spätvorstellung ermöglichte. Das Quartett, angeführt von "Diva" Bill Kaulitz, schwebte mit Manager und Marketingfrau ein und verschwand sogleich im großen Kinosaal. Doch bevor es dunkel im Vorführraum wurde, orderten die Superstars noch Cola light und Popcorn. "Die Jungs waren sehr nettm haben sich bei mir bedankt.", so Hans-Peter Jansen, dessen 18-jährige Tochter Lea das große Glück hatte, Seite an Seite den Film mit Bill und Co. sehen zu dürfen. "Sie steht zwar nicht auf die Musik der Band, sie war aber dennoch wie paralysiert, musste nach dem Spuk noch in derselben Nacht ihren Freundinnen von diesem unfassbaren Erlebnis erzählen", so Jansen. Mit ihr hätten in dieser Nacht sicherlich viele Mädchen gerne getauscht...!

Their arrival was top secret, in a rather insignificant car, shortly after 11 p.m, the security closing off the ground in front of the Lichtspielhaus after them being in the cinema. Peter Jansen was responsible for not letting any information of their arrival public this night. “I was committed to absolute confidentiality”, the cinema tenant, who permitted the late-night performance of the movie for Tokio Hotel, said. The quartett, lead by the “Diva” Bill Kaulitz, arrived with their Manager and their Marketing Women and disappeared into the huge movie theater.

But before it got dark in the screening room, the superstars ordered some Cola Light and Popcorn. “The boys were very nice and they thanked me.”, said Hans-Peter Jansen whos 18-year old daughter Lea had a lot of luck to watch the movie side by side with Bill and Co. “She’s not really into their music, but she was kind of paralyzed and had to tell her friends of her unbelieveable adventure on the same night”, said Jansen. A lot of girls would have loved to be in her place that night…!

“Is it true that you have made a soundtrack for the movie ‘Alice in Wonderland’?
Bill: ‘Together with Kerli we recorded ‘Strange’ for ‘alice in Wonderland’. First we had planned the song for ‘Humanoid’. We wrote it and were looking for a voice for it. Kerli was the ideal newcomer. Het was very fun to work with her. She is so funny, enthusiastic, always happy and sympathetic. It clicked. In the future we’d love to work with Aerosmith. And also with Stereophonics. Tom and I really find them cool.”

Tokio Hotel tribute the fans
When Tokio Hotel were about to play in Sweden last time, the singers vocal cords striked. Now can they finally meet their Swedish fans in Stockholm and Göteborg. Themselfs, dream about playing in the outer space.

Before the weekend's two awaited Sweden concerts had the German popband, Tokio Hotel, only two experiences of Sweden. One concert that got cancelled due to a sudden vocal cord surgery, and one signing session in Göteborg [that's actually wrong, it was in Stockholm] some year earlier, a thousand lucky created total chaos. In a lounge below the Globe, just arrived in Sweden, the singer Bill Kaulitz remember the event with a broad smile. - "That signing session, we had been sitting 8hrs in a bus and suddenly got to meet all fans that got totally crazy when they saw us. We're of course really happy that we've such energetic fans", he says.

- "It's -10 degrees today! Yet they wait outside of the arena", says the twinbrother and guitarist player Tom Kaulitz.

Have you gotten used to have such an engaged audience?
- "To be honest, you never get used by it fully. We in the band are the same persons that we always have been, and we still can't understand that people have posters of us on the walls", Bill Kaulitz says.
- "Especially not if someone have any of Georg", says Tom Kaulitz with a ironic nod to the basist Georg Listing.

Your lyrics is often about pretty heavy elements. Is it harder to write them now when you're stars?
- "No, you always write about your own experiences. It's not like we suddenly live in a world with only stars, we're still people on this planet. We've the same problems as everyone else", says Bill Kaulitz.

How important are your fans PR-work for you?
- "Really important. On the Internet there's of course both bad sites and good fansites, but for us it has always been an asset that we have the kind of active fans", says Bill Kaulitz.

On your latest album you sing about that the future is already here. How do you imagine Tokio Hotels future?
- "I think we'll get to see flying cars and aliens [laugh]. But seriously speaking so is our whole latest album inspired by the whole idea of the future. We believe that there's something out there", Bill Kaulitz says.
- "I would like to fly with UFOs and visit other planets", says Tom Kaulitz.
- "Perhaps could we be the first band that plays on another planet? That would be a dream," says Bill Kaulitz and laughs."
